ngl, I'm more of an indie fan, but everynow and then I won't say no to a bit of pop... but you won't really find it on my iTunes... except for a bit of Kylie ♥

however, I HAAATE processed, X-factor etc music. I just hate hate hate it. agh.

 

#7 Five pet peeves

 

1 - odd numbers.

bit weird, but I really, really can't stand odd numbers. I used to be quite OCD cause i never really used to eat anything and that kiiindaaa makes you crazy! most of it's gone now but odd numbers still get to me...

 

2 - poor spelling.

again, this is an OCD leftover. despite the fact that before year 9 when i literally sat, read and memorised a million spellings, i couldn't spell a thing... i can't stand poor spelling/grammar (took english language a year early ;L) so yeah. don't do it :)

 

3 - orange people.

nothing against umpaloompas, and I have been known to whack out the ol' gradual build up moisturiser... I hate fake tan. like, obvious, spray on, orange, nasty chavvy fake tan.

 

4 - two facedness.

again, I am very two faced at times, but I try not to be... but I really really hate people who are you're best friend one second and then act like you're dirt the next. really unnecessary.

 

5 - people who go on about how the were 'sooo stooooneeeed'.

says it all really.

sorry about the lack of 30 day challenge. i'm really, really lazy.

so today, i really struggled to come up with a design, i started out with another deisgn which i willpostassoon asi can find the photo (it's gone missing on my hardrive :L) but then changed my mind about it... it was Disco Pink my Maxfactor (a pretty, hot pink) with a silver gillter gradient on the diagonal... very cute but this is the last time i can really do big nails til my GCSES are over, so i thought i'd make the most of it. so, i played around with a LOT of designs, and eventually decided to do a play on this necklace...

sorry, you're gonna have to tilt your head there, :L it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland...  i laaave it :D

on nails, it came out okay!

i used regular base/top coat; Models Own 25 Carrat Gold; Barbara Daly Wicked; Revlon Ruby Ribbon; OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous; and looooadsa Andrea Fulerton crystals. so much wffort to apply, but they do look cute.

Left Hand

pinky- this is a kinda crystal ball on the necklace

ring - ace of clubs

middle - heart

index - clock

thumb - ribbon

Right Hand

pinky - same as LH

ring - a camera, it's slightly clearer in realily, but didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, but by the time I'd done it, I just really couldn't be bothered to change it :L

used usual base and top, then Topshop nails Gypsy night, Andrea Fulerton gemstone topcoat and her nail crystals too.

the k-midz nails went down a treat tooo (:

yeahh i'm sleeepy, so not a long post tonight. gotta really start revising for my gcses soon too so won't be posting as much. i also can't wear coloured polish to school so my blog will be VERY boring as of Tuesday :L might start a Wednesday want thing or something? idk.

Day 4 - Bullet for your Day

8 - woke up

8-8.40 - washed face, got dressed, brushed teeth, straightened hair, did make up, left for work

8.50 - worked (i'm a waitress)

5.20 - got picked up (20 minutes late!!!)

5.30 - ran to superdrug, broguht nail polish + gems

5.40 - watched friends

6 - painted nails

6.45 - dinner

all the rest, facebook and telly :L

so THAT is my mani for the roayl wedding, and personally I wish wills + kate all the best (:

but more importantly, i really like this mani! i can't really decide whether or not i like the silver nails, but i'll no doubt change them on saturday :L

i used usual top + base, accessorise electric blue, andrea fullerton nail boutique crystal (kinda pricey but SO worth it!)  and an anon M&S silver that i brought in a set :)

i also thought you (whoever you are :L) might like to see my stash?

it doesn't look like much when it's all shoved in a box, but there are 79ish bottles in there :)

and this little beauty, is what i brought today :) it's beaautiful, i think that there's a Sally Hansen polish like this, but they're difficult to come by over here... it's Andrea Fulerton and i'm in love with it. i can tell that it'll look amazing over a dark blue and i'm gonna use it asap!

religion :L really gay but i have so many issues with it L: aaanddd i also feel strongly about making the most of what you have, like, your education :L i'm such a dweeb!

 #3 A book you love

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, Atonement + Enduring Love by Ian McEwan, cause i'm so original and hipster. naat. nah, i know they're pretty hipsterish and films etc... but to be fair, I did read ALL of the books first (haven't even seen never let me go yet..) and they are all really really good :L
